Privacy Policy for Teen Trivia

Teen Trivia ("the App") is developed and maintained by Rahul Lakharia ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information. We wrote it in plain language because the short version is simple: the App does not collect, store, or share any personal information about you.

Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. Teen Trivia does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide your name, email address, location, or any other personal details to use the App.

The App does not use analytics services, advertising networks, tracking technologies, or third-party software development kits (SDKs) of any kind. It does not access your contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or location.

Information Stored on Your Device

Teen Trivia keeps track of your quiz history so you can see your stats — things like your best score, your average score, and how many quizzes you've taken in each category. This information is saved using Apple's standard on-device storage (UserDefaults) directly on your iPhone or iPad.

This data:

• Never leaves your device.
• Is never transmitted to us, to the App developer, or to any third party.
• Is not linked to your identity in any way.
• Can be permanently erased at any time by deleting the App from your device.

Internet Connection

Teen Trivia works fully offline. All 1,500+ trivia questions are bundled directly inside the App, so no internet connection is required to play, and no data is sent over the network during normal use.

Sharing Your Score

The App includes an optional "Share My Score" button. If you choose to use it, iOS opens the standard Apple share sheet, which lets you decide whether and how to share a short text message about your score (for example, through Messages, Mail, or another app of your choosing). This action is entirely initiated and controlled by you. We do not receive a copy of anything you share, and we have no visibility into which app or contact you choose to share it with — that exchange happens directly between you and the destination app you select, under that app's own privacy practices.

Children's Privacy

Teen Trivia is designed to be appropriate for teens and general audiences. Because the App collects no personal information from anyone, regardless of age, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and no special data-collection concerns apply under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) or similar laws — there is simply no data being collected to begin with.

Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the App adds a new feature that does involve data collection — we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this page occasionally if you have concerns.
