Important Notes for Days: Since & Until
Effective: August 29, 2026
The short version: Three things worth knowing before you rely on Days: Since & Until, called Days below. This is not a contract — the licence is Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement, which you can read from Settings.
It Is Not Advice
Nothing in Days is medical, health, legal or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for any of those.
Counts relating to habits — days since a drink, a cigarette, a bet, or anything else — are a personal record you keep for yourself. They are not a treatment, a diagnosis or a clinical tool. Workout counts are read from Health and are a record of what your device happened to log, not a fitness assessment. If you are working on something that matters to your health, talk to a professional.
Subscription amounts and dates are figures you enter, or that the app reads from a screenshot you provide. They are an estimate for your own reference — not a bill, not a statement, and not an authority on what you will actually be charged. Days cannot cancel, change or pay for anything.
It Can Be Wrong
Reminders are scheduled through iOS and depend on your notification settings, your device being on, and iOS choosing to deliver them. A reminder may not arrive. Please do not rely on Days for anything where missing it would matter.
Reading text from a screenshot is imperfect. The app shows you what it read and asks you to confirm it, and leaves a field blank rather than guessing. Please check it.
Trackers brought in from Calendar, Reminders or Health reflect what those apps reported at the time.
Nothing Is Backed Up
Everything is stored on your device only. There is no account and no copy on any server, which means nobody can recover your trackers for you if you delete the app, lose the device, or erase your data from within it.
Keep device backups turned on if your counts matter to you. What is and is not stored is set out in the Privacy Policy.
